Dear Parents, 

Our Veterans Day Celebration is on Friday, November 10th at 9:00 -10:00am in the Barton Creek Elementary Cafeteria. Come join us as we celebrate and honor all of our United States Veterans and Current Military. VIP seating will be provided for Veterans, Current Military, and their spouses. Each grade level will march to the stage waving their flags and students will sing a special song for all who attend the celebration. Coffee and breakfast snacks will be served by the BCE Booster Club. Everyone is encouraged to wear red, white or blue. 

Please complete the following BCE Visitors RSVP Form so the office staff can pre-print your visitor's badge for the celebratory morning. For those who are new to BCE or who have not visited in a while, please bring your photo ID so we can get you scanned into our system as quickly as possible. 

We are also excited to continue with our tradition of the Veterans Day Video Tribute! The Video Tribute is a way to honor your specific family member who has served or who is still currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. The video tribute will be shared with everyone at the assembly on Friday, November 10th. 

Families will create their own slide by adding pictures and information to honor their special person who has served in the United States Armed Forces. If you would like for your family member(s) of the United States Armed Forces to be included in the tribute, please review and follow the steps below. All submissions are due by Friday, Nov 3rd, 2023 at 5:00pm.

New Families This Year

○ Step 2 - Click on one of the blank slides to begin your family's tribute page 

○ Step 3 - Follow the directions on the slide to add pictures of your family member 

○ Step 4 - Add the following information to your family members slide 

■ Veteran or Active Duty Members Name 

■ Their Rank, Branch of Service, & Years of Service (Ex.: Lieutenant, U.S. ARMY, 

1950-1960) 

■ Student(s) Full Name & their Relationship to the Student(s)
