About the Booster ClubWelcome to Barton Creek Elementary! The Barton Creek Elementary Booster Club is a non-profit organization comprised of parent volunteers, formed for the benefit of the students, teachers and staff of Barton Creek Elementary.
Due to the generous financial support and hands-on involvement of the Blue Jay community, we are able to enrich the educational experiences of our children through campus improvements, extracurricular activities, school events, field trips, classroom supplies, instructional materials and professional development courses for our teachers and staff.
How to joinAll parents of BCE students are considered members of the Booster Club. There are no membership fees or a required number of volunteer hours, however, because we are a non-profit made up solely of volunteers, we encourage each family to donate both time and treasure as they are able. For a breakdown of how funds are collected and used, review our 24-25 budget here and our 23-24 budget here. Please note that the budget appears unbalanced as the Booster Club plans to utilize funds remaining from prior fiscal years on expenses that will be realized this year. For questions regarding the BCE Booster Club budget, please feel free to reach out to president@bcebooster.org and treasurer@bcebooster.org.
HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT FROM EEFThe Eanes Education Foundation is another wonderful non-profit that supports our district, specifically focused on funding teachers and specialty staff. Last year, donations from the community funded 55 staff positions across all nine campuses for this school year. Those positions include nurses, librarians, counselors, fine arts, AP course staff, intervention specialists and more.
