Help kids during their library visits, support our new librarian, Ms. Rush, and help make this a great year in the BCE Library!

⭐ MANDATORY VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

7:45–8:30 AM
BCE Library
New and returning volunteers must attend. Even if you're not ready to sign up today, attend orientation so you'll be ready for future opportunities!

| There are two ways to help in the BCE Library this year: volunteer during your child's class library time or help behind the scenes as a General Library Volunteer. |
|
OPTION ONE
Class Volunteers
Join your child during their class library time! Each volunteer shift is approximately 50 minutes.
You may help with:

Checking books in and out and reshelving books |
| ● |
Helping students search for and locate books |
| ● |
Assisting with craft and STEM activities |
| ● |
Pulling and displaying seasonal books |
What's new this year?
Library is now part of the five-day Specials rotation. Because the schedule changes throughout the year, parents will sign up for individual days and times instead of one standing weekly shift. |

How to Sign Up

Click the tab for your child's grade level. |

Find the table for your child's Specials color. |
|

Choose the days that work for you. There are 2 volunteer spots per day. |

|
Attend the mandatory orientation on August 31, 7:45–8:30 AM. |
New class volunteer opportunities will be posted quarterly.

OPTION TWO
General Library Volunteers
Want to help behind the scenes? We also have job-specific, year-long volunteer opportunities to help keep the library running smoothly.
Unlike class volunteer shifts, these positions do not have an assigned weekly time slot.
